About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our Grounds & Open Spaces team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our new Department of Housing contract in Darwin.

This permanent full-time position presents a fantastic opportunity to lever your knowledge and experience to a large scale contract.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Darwin

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations
• Coach, mentor and lead contract team
• Deliver exceptional customer relationship management
• Ensure all scheduled work is completed on time and adheres to required standards
• Monitor quality and provide clear, consistent reporting on progress and outcomes
• Promote and develop a safety culture across the business

About You

To excel in this role, you will be a motivated professional with a ‘can-do’ attitude, knack for people engagement and drive for operational excellence. A background or strong knowledge of the grounds keeping industry and maintenance services is also highly desirable, however not essential (grounds maintenance, horticulture, landscaping, mowing, turf, facilities maintenance etc).

Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:

• Grounds and/or open spaces maintenance experience are highly desirable.
• Demonstrated contract management experience.
• Highly developed communication and strong stakeholder engagement ability.
• Proactive approach to relationship management and business development.
