Account Manager – Staffing Industry

The Role

You may be an existing Account Manager within the recruitment industry or similar services sector looking to make a significant career move.

Reporting directly to the SA Regional Manager, this important role will focus on providing high quality outcomes to our valued customers through the successful, safe and smooth delivery of customer service and sales activities to new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive safety improvement through the regular delivery of safety talks and related activities
  • Maintaining compliance and an accurate account history for existing clients
  • Ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Resolution of operational issues
  • Prepare monthly / quarterly business review documents to present to clients
  • Working closely with our operational delivery teams to fulfil clients staffing requirements  
  • Developing opportunities to cross sell products to existing clients
  • Working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders across Adelaide
  • Establishing account management plans, ensuring regular monitoring and review for adherence to service level agreements
  • Promote and develop a positive safety culture across the business
  • Proactively visit customer sites on a regular basis to ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded
  • Positively promote Programmed services to existing and new clients

Skills and experience

  • Ability to deliver high level Customer Relationship Management that promotes service excellence and customer retention
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a cooperative team & willing to help others
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to establish strong working relationships with key client stakeholders and our field employees
  • Experience in the logistics, labour hire or recruitment sectors is beneficial
  • Demonstrable experience in a sales-based recruitment role or similar sales related experience in the services sector
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working to and consistently achieving KPIs and targets
  • Ability to develop and sustain strong professional relationships with clients, employees & colleagues
  • Have strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and can work autonomously
  • Deliver service excellence to all clients, whilst displaying outstanding relationship building skills
  • Current Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle
