Programmed Facility Management has recently been awarded new contracts at Tropicana and Sunrise Dam, and we’re looking for experienced Village Managers to lead site operations.

This is a standout opportunity to join during a key mobilisation phase, stepping into a role with real ownership across site services, while working alongside established, high-retention teams.

Working on an 8:6 FIFO roster out of Perth, this role is suited to a proven leader who thrives in remote environments, leading people and delivering high standards across multiple service lines.

The Opportunity

As Village Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end operation of village services, including catering, cleaning, retail, utilities, accommodation, and coordination with maintenance teams.

This is a hands-on leadership role, where you’ll lead a team of approximately 70–80 staff across multiple departments, setting the tone for culture, performance, and service delivery.

You’ll play a key role in creating a well-run, welcoming environment for residents, while working closely with client stakeholders and senior site leaders to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of village services across site
• Manage and support multi-disciplinary teams across catering, housekeeping, retail, utilities, and maintenance support
• Drive a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture
• Ensure delivery of services in line with client expectations and company standards
• Maintain strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance across all operations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives and senior site stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement and service delivery enhancements
• Ensure village facilities are maintained to a high standard for resident comfort and wellbeing

About You

You’re an experienced Village Manager or senior operations leader with a background in FIFO or remote site environments, ideally within soft services.

You’re confident leading large teams, building strong relationships, and delivering consistent, high-quality service in a dynamic environment.

You will have:

• Proven experience in a Village Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong background in soft services (catering, accommodation, cleaning, utilities)
• FIFO or remote site experience (required)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with strong client-facing experience
• Experience leading large, multi-functional teams
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and site standards
• A proactive, people-first leadership style

Requirements

• Full Australian working rights
• Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Current National Police Check (must be clear)

Desirable:

• Hospitality or Commercial Cookery qualifications
• Experience with mobilisation systems (e.g. INX, PeopleTray)
• First Aid, RSA, or other site-based certifications

Location Requirement:
Candidates must be Perth-based (or able to commute to Perth for flights) or reside in Kalgoorlie.
