This is a unique opportunity to join during a key mobilisation phase, stepping into a role where you’ll have real ownership within a small HSEQ team, working closely with site leaders and operational teams.

Working on an 8:6 FIFO roster out of Perth, this role is suited to an experienced HSEQ professional who thrives in a hands-on, hybrid role, balancing field engagement with systems, reporting, and continuous improvement.

What’s on offer

  • $126,788 + Super
  • 8:6 FIFO roster out of Perth
  • Role supporting both Tropicana & Sunrise Dam sites

  • Strong site culture with a focus on safety and collaboration

  • Ongoing career progression and development opportunities

The Opportunity

As an HSEQ Advisor, you’ll work across both sites to provide practical, operational HSEQ support, partnering closely with leaders and frontline teams.

This is a hybrid role, with a strong balance between on-the-ground presence and administrative responsibilities, including reporting, systems, and compliance.

You’ll play a key role in driving a proactive safety culture, supporting areas such as food safety, accommodation standards, maintenance activities, and overall site operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HSEQ guidance and support across soft services and maintenance operations
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations
  • Support development and review of risk assessments, SWMS, and management plans

  • Ensure adherence to safety management systems and client requirements
  • Investigate incidents and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Prepare and deliver reports to senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Deliver and support training, toolbox talks, and coaching sessions
  • Build strong relationships with site leaders, client representatives, and operational teams
  • Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and environmental performance

About You

You’re an experienced HSEQ professional who is confident working in a FIFO, operational environment, supporting both frontline teams and senior stakeholders.

You’re equally comfortable in the field and behind the systems, with the ability to influence, guide, and bring people together.

You will have:

  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
  • Proven experience in an HSEQ Advisor or similar role
  • Strong FIFO or remote site experience (required)
  • Experience across soft services, facilities, or maintenance environments

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Requirements

  • Full Australian working rights

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Current National Police Check (must be clear)

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience in aerodrome or aviation environments
  • Diploma in Work Health & Safety
