Working on an 8:6 FIFO roster out of Perth, this role is suited to an experienced supervisor who can lead a team, manage daily operations, and maintain consistent service delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity

As Cleaning Supervisor – Housekeeping, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily delivery of cleaning and housekeeping services across the village.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, where you’ll lead from the front while supporting a team of approximately 8–10 staff. You’ll ensure all accommodation rooms and facilities are maintained to a high standard, while keeping operations running smoothly day-to-day.

You’ll play a key role in creating a clean, safe, and comfortable “home away from home” for residents on site.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a housekeeping team across daily operations
  • Lead from the front, providing hands-on support where required
  • Ensure all rooms, facilities, and common areas meet high cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Manage daily schedules and ensure completion of tasks within required timeframes
  • Maintain compliance with site cleaning procedures, safety standards, and chemical handling requirements
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Manage stock levels, consumables, and cleaning supplies
  • Coordinate and action maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Support onboarding and on-the-job training of team members
  • Assist with basic reporting, payroll inputs, and administrative tasks
  • Work collaboratively with Village Management and other departments
 

About You

You’re an experienced cleaning or housekeeping professional who understands the demands of working in a FIFO or high-volume environment.

You’re comfortable leading a team, but equally happy to be hands-on, supporting operations and setting the standard through your work.

 

You will have:

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping supervisory role
  • Experience in FIFO or mine site environments
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to support your team on the ground
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards, safety procedures, and chemical handling
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
 

Requirements

  • Full Australian working rights
  • Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
  • Current National Police Check (valid within the last 3 months)
