As the Transport Solutions Manager, you will lead the Transport Solutions Team within Analytics and Design Services, driving operational excellence and innovation across Linfox’s national transport operations. You will develop new operating models, review existing operations for efficiency, and evaluate emerging technologies and PBS routes for suitability and compliance.

You will provide strategic leadership and direction to your team, manage complex transport projects end-to-end, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

This role is open to candidates located in Essendon, Laverton (VIC), or Oakdale (NSW).

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead the Transport Solutions Team to align with business goals and deliver high-impact projects.
• Manage transport projects from planning through to execution, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Mentor and develop team members, building capabilities in transport solution development and advanced modelling tools.
• Develop detailed proposals and business cases to support new initiatives and improvements.
• Review and optimise current operations to improve cost-efficiency and performance.
• Assess new operational technologies and PBS routes and make recommendations for adoption.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate:

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in transport or logistics, with a strong commercial and operational focus
• Proven leadership in managing teams and complex projects
• Deep knowledge of Australian transport regulations including NHVL, PBS, and CoR
• Strong analytical, consultative, and communication skills
• Experience with transport and warehouse modelling software and Microsoft Office
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Logistics, or related fields preferred
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships across stakeholders
