What does the job look like?

As the Team Manager – Outbound, you will lead and develop a stable PM shift team, ensuring operational outcomes are delivered safely, on time and cost‑effectively. You will play a key role in fostering a positive team culture, driving performance, and supporting continuous improvement across outbound operations.

This role reports to the Shift Manager and works closely with operational leadership to support site objectives. Key areas:

• Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations including picking, replenishment, wrapping and loading
• Schedule and allocate labour to meet productivity, service and DC KPI targets
• Monitor operational performance across the shift and address issues early
• Ensure effective communication between warehouse teams, dispatch and customer contacts
• Manage picker and loader performance to protect product quality and integrity
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and ways of working
• Maintain site and facility standards in line with BevChain and customer expectations
• Promote safe work practices and a workplace free from injuries

• Demonstrated management experience in a large-scale Warehouse environment
• Ability to build and maintain a high-performance team and culture
• Previous experience with financial and commercial acumen, with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and influencing skills when engaging with diverse stakeholders
• Sound understanding of WH&S principles
