The Opportunity

The School of Rural Health is seeking to hire a Lecturer to coordinate and deliver the pharmacology component of the Year A program. This position will have knowledge and skills to embrace contemporary approaches for high quality face-to-face and online teaching and will aspire to continual improvement of the quality of teaching and the student experience. The lecturer will contribute to program administration, the preparation of teaching materials, research and have a leading role in unit assessment.

This position will also liaise with the appropriate staff in the Years 1 and 2 programs at Clayton and Malaysia to ensure alignment of content delivery and assessment and have a key role in the management of medicine course assessment in the Gippsland region.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who holds a doctoral qualification and/or experience recognised by the University as appropriate for the relevant discipline area. Additionally, the successful candidate will also have a demonstrated strong record of teaching experience in a tertiary environment and the proven ability to teach effectively in a manner that motivates, engages and inspires students to learn.
