In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional reception and administrative support services to the University Health Service (UHS), as well as aiding the University Health Service medical practitioners, registered nurses, counsellors and other allied health professionals. As the first point of contact at reception, you will not only be responsible for professionally receiving, processing and triaging patients attending the UHS but you will also contribute to the efficient operations of the larger University Health Services.
University Health Services (UHS) are located on each of the Monash campuses with the UHS reception team being the front line of the service providing a broad range of key administrative tasks. Our Medical Receptionists are required to travel and support different campus centres based on a roster system.
As the successful candidate, you will be highly organised, empathetic, and an excellent communicator. Your previous experience working in a medical practice in an administrative and/or reception role and understanding the day to day workings of a medical practice will be a major asset in this role.
