The Opportunity

Join our dynamic research team as an A Level A Research-Only Academic and contribute to cutting-edge studies in the field of epigenetics, multi-OMIC science, ageing, and exercise. In this role, you will support the university's broader research mission by pursuing clearly defined research projects, expanding your expertise, and actively participating in our collaborative research environment. This position is ideal for a motivated early-career researcher eager to build a strong foundation in high-impact scientific inquiry and data-driven discovery.

The successful candidate will be integrated into an established research group dedicated to exploring the complex interplay between genetics, epigenetics, and physiological adaptations to ageing and exercise. With a particular focus on sex-specific responses and functional ageing processes, our work leverages big data and systems biology approaches to uncover novel insights into human health and performance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow your research profile while contributing to the advancement of knowledge in a rapidly evolving and socially relevant area of science.
