The Opportunity
Join Student Conduct and Complaints as a Senior Student Conduct and Risk Specialist.
The Senior Student Conduct and Risk Specialist applies high-level judgement, decision making and investigative expertise to provide strategic advice, guidance and training in order to support Monash’s student general misconduct and student risk functions.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for leading and managing the operation of the general misconduct and student risk processes in accordance with best practice, legal requirements, university policies, procedures and strategic priorities. Further, you will exercise significant discretion and autonomy in the investigation and determination of a range of matters, including by developing investigation plans, interviewing witnesses, obtaining and analysing evidence, managing complainants and preparing detailed reports including the drafting of notices of decision.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires postgraduate qualifications in law and extensive, relevant experience; or extensive experience in investigations and administrative decision making; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
