Business Development Executive – Wellington & Surrounds

Your Impact
As a Business Development Executive across the Lower North Island, you’ll represent Asahi Lifestyle Beverages’ market-leading portfolio across Wellington, the Kapiti Coast and Martinborough region. You’ll take ownership of a diverse customer base, strengthening partnerships and driving visibility, distribution and execution in-store. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you’ll make a real impact through your energy, organisation and customer-first mindset.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage approximately 14–25 customer visits per call cycle across Wellington to Kapiti Coast and Martinborough.

  • Deliver on sales, distribution and promotional targets to grow Asahi’s market share.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key route and retail customers.

  • Execute promotional programs, displays and merchandising excellence in store.

  • Collaborate with your Business Development Manager to optimise activation and trade plans.

  • Monitor market activity to stay ahead of competitors and identify growth opportunities.

  • Day trips only – no overnight travel required.

About You
You’re a confident communicator and natural relationship-builder with a strong drive for results. You thrive on being in market, enjoy variety in your day, and take pride in delivering premium service and execution. Ideally, you’ll bring prior experience in FMCG or beverage sales, strong organisation skills and a genuine passion for people and great brands.
