Your Impact
As our next Business Development Executive, you’ll take ownership of the iconic Mornington Peninsula territory – one of Victoria’s most high-profile on-premise regions through the busy summer trade. Representing Asahi Beverages’ premium portfolio, you’ll be out in trade five days a week driving growth, execution, and visibility across pubs, bars, hotels, and restaurants.
This role is an 8-month secondment (until June 30) and a key opportunity to step into a highly visible on-premise position during peak season – ideal for someone eager to make an immediate impact and strengthen their commercial capability in a fast-paced field environment.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage a diverse on-premise customer base across the Mornington Peninsula to Portsea, ensuring execution excellence and premium brand representation.
- Achieve sales, volume, and execution targets by implementing CUB Tailored Service Packages (TSPs) and delivering flawless in-venue activation.
- Identify, negotiate, and re-sign key contracts while proactively uncovering new business opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships through consistent communication, responsiveness, and problem-solving for customers.
- Leverage Salesforce journey plans to structure your customer visits and reporting.
- Partner with internal teams (Customer Contact Centre, Commercial Integration, Supply, and Marketing) to resolve issues and optimise customer experience.
About You
- 1–2 years of sales or field experience, ideally within FMCG, hospitality, or beverage industries.
- Proven customer-service mindset – you’re responsive, accountable, and known for follow-through.
- Commercially savvy with strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Capable of working autonomously, planning efficiently, and managing multiple priorities.
- Confident using Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools to track activity and insights.
- Full driver’s licence and current RSA required.
