This is a high-profile, strategic role managing one of Australia’s largest independent banner groups — LMG (Liquor Marketing Group). As the National Account Manager – Beer, you will lead the commercial and strategic agenda to unlock sustainable, profitable growth across Asahi’s beer portfolio. Your influence will shape how our brands show up across a large national retail store network, and strengthen one of the most important partnerships in the liquor industry.
Acting as the voice of the customer inside Asahi, you’ll drive execution excellence, champion insights-led decision making, and deliver commercial outcomes that build brand equity, share and value.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the LMG Beer relationship and lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) with a clear 1–3 year growth vision
- Shape pricing, promotional and portfolio strategy in line with banner and shopper needs
- Analyse customer drivers, loyalty data and category insights to identify incremental growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate forecasting, planning and investment governance
- Partner with category, innovation and cross-functional teams to deliver portfolio growth
- Tailor promotions and execution programs to drive store-level activation and conversion
- Negotiate trading agreements and activation plans with commercial discipline
- Deliver commercial, NSV, share and brand performance targets
- Monitor sales, execution and ROI metrics to identify gaps and accelerate performance
- Manage promotional programs, claims, risk mitigation and scenario planning
- Review store performance to identify execution opportunities and influence field priorities
- Resolve supply chain and fulfilment issues through strong cross-functional collaboration
- Champion customer advocacy internally and drive deep organisational understanding of LMG
