As a National Account Manager - Growth Channels, you will drive the achievement of volume, NSV, and profitability targets across multiple beverage segments within Aldi, Costco, and other strategic customers. As part of the Grocery Commercial team, you’ll develop and execute strategic account plans to grow customer revenue, win market share, optimise ROI, and lead key cross-category activations. Working closely with internal stakeholders and customer teams, you’ll ensure seamless execution of customer strategies, including e-commerce and forecasting.

 

This is a fixed-term position for approximately 3 months

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

 

  • Oversee and manage key customer relationships within accounts.
  • Play a leadership role in driving key business objectives, offering guidance, coaching, motivation, and support as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of joint business plans and help shape the commercial strategy by providing insights on account opportunities, risks, and perspectives.
  • Create accurate sales forecasts and deliver on key targets, including revenue, profitability, and market share growth.
  • Take full ownership of a substantial customer investment plan, overseeing its planning, execution, and the development of optimization strategies.
  • Lead and facilitate account negotiations to drive favourable outcomes.
  • Design and execute activation plans that align with channel, and customer strategies, ensuring implementation and monitoring consumption trends weekly.
  • Establish strong customer insights and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including Supply, Demand, Category, Finance, and Marketing.

 

 

About you:

 

 

  • Experience in account management at a senior level
  • Coles/Woolworths experience highly regarded
  • Strong strategic, commercial, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on planning and execution.
  • Tertiary qualification in a commercial discipline highly regarded.
