Join the team behind some of New Zealand’s most loved beers. As a Brewing Coordinator at our Boundary Road Brewery in Papakura, you’ll lead and support a passionate team to deliver high-quality beer and cider safely, efficiently, and on time. You’ll combine your technical brewing know-how with strong leadership and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset to help us continuously raise the bar in safety, quality, and performance.

Please note: This role is primarily day shift, however you may be required to rotate through afternoon and night shifts as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing brewing team in a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment.
• Oversee daily brewing operations from malt handling to filtration, ensuring quality, timing, and volume targets are achieved.
• Plan raw materials, yeast, and production schedules to maintain seamless supply to Packaging.
• Solve problems on the spot and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and beer quality.
• Promote and uphold strong safety, GMP, and hygiene standards across all brewing activities.
• Support data-driven decision-making using Excel, MIS, and automation systems to manage costs and performance.

About You

• Experienced in brewing or beverage production highly regarded.
• A fair, empathetic leader who listens, supports, and empowers their team.
• Confident in a hands-on environment and calm under pressure.
• Strong analytical and planning capability with the able to think ahead and act pragmatically.
• Passionate about continuous improvement, with an understanding of Lean principles.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Committed to safety, quality, and creating a positive team culture.
