Your Impact:

Core to the Asahi Beverages business is our commitment to Environment, Health and Safety practices. As Senior Manager – Environment, Safety and Wellbeing, you will lead a team of EHS professionals to drive the EHS culture across the Victoria and Tasmania.

You will be responsible for ensuring all Environment, Health and Safety activities are executed effectively and in line with our Strategic Health, Safety and Wellbeing Strategy. This includes engaging and partnering with stakeholders, delivering on EHS initiatives, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance and embedding a strong safety culture across our business.

Please note, this role will be offered as a 12-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach and manage a team of EHS professionals to execute the HSW framework, systems and programs.
• Partner with stakeholders to operationalise the HSW strategy within Victoria and Tasmania, ensuring alignment to Oceania requirements.
• Deliver a proactive HSW management system including hazard and risk control, effective communication, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure legal and regulatory requirements are understood and achieved, maintaining strong governance and reporting standards.
• Oversee incident investigation, root cause analysis, and close out of critical risk incidents.
• Support environmental initiatives, audits, and reporting requirements.
• Manage risk profiles, critical controls and training plans to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all.

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Environment, Health and Safety (or equivalent).
• Proven senior management experience in HSW, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• In-depth understanding of legal and ethical frameworks for EHS.
• High level communication, problem solving and coaching capability.
• Professional certification and membership in relevant professional associations, highly regarded.
