Flinders Medical Centre are looking for a dedicated and skilled Nurse to join their Cardiac Care team!

About the role:

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager this role is responsible for patients in the Cardiac Care Unit.

Duties for the role will include:

  • Assess individual patient/client needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies.
  • Oversee the provision of nursing/midwifery care within a team/unit. 
  • Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting and adherence to resources allocations.

About you:

  • Be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience. 
  • Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
