About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking Registered and Clinical Nurses to join the Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people experiencing challenges with their mental health. We offer speciality mental health inpatient services in short stay assessment, open and intensive care units providing comprehensive treatment for individuals experiencing acute mental health illness episodes.
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges. Your compassion, clinical expertise, and commitment to patient-centred care will be instrumental in supporting our clients' recovery journeys.
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, utilising evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality mental health services. You will have the opportunity to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans, ensuring that our clients receive individualised and holistic treatment.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. You must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
