We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Advancement Manager to join our high-performing team and lead major gift fundraising efforts. In this role, you will engage high net worth individuals, cultivate meaningful donor relationships, and champion opportunities to fund cutting-edge research and student scholarships.

Your impact:

  • Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects with a focus on six- and seven-figure philanthropic contributions.
  • Develop tailored cultivation and stewardship strategies to align donor passions with University priorities.
  • Partner with academic leaders and researchers to identify fundraising opportunities and develop compelling proposals.
  • Represent La Trobe externally, building trust with key stakeholders and sector peers.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of advancement practices, reporting on trends, risks and performance.

What you’ll bring:

  • A degree and extensive experience in major gift fundraising, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven success engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and high net worth individuals.
  • Exceptional relationship management, communication and negotiation skills.
