As our Customer Screening Analyst reporting to the Customer Screening Manager, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of due diligence, vetting and screening actions in support of The Star’s AML/CTF Program.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will identify and classify potential AML/CTF related risk’s.
A few of your responsibilities:
- As part of the screening process, effectively collate, analyse and evaluate information from a range of sources including commercial and open-source databases.
- Analyse and assess and escalate potential matches to risk relevant information
- Accurately update TrackVia and CMS, with revised risk ratings and concise summaries of due diligence findings. Compile in depth diligence reports as required.
- Document findings, maintain records and prepare reports on screening results in accordance with both the AML/CTF Program and the mandatory Standing Operating Procedures.
- Apply sound judgement, expertise and knowledge to make independent decisions and escalate red flags and due diligence cases of note where necessary
What we are looking for:
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a customer screening, due diligence, intelligence, investigative or compliance related environment; and/or
- Tertiary studies in a subject which requires a high level of critical analysis and independent research is desirable, e.g. Law, Criminology, Economics, Accounting.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Proficient in Chinese characters/text will be favourably viewed.
- High level research, analytical critical thinking skills and the proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant statutory compliance and reporting requirements.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and proficient in using analytical software and database record management systems.

You are a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial crime risk and compliance. Skilled in due diligence, vetting, and screening, you play a key role in supporting The Star’s AML/CTF Program. With sharp investigative skills and sound judgment, you help ensure regulatory adherence and safeguard the business.
Your role will be pivotal in driving impactful outcomes and shaping future solutions by applying your expertise to enhance risk management processes and support strategic decision-making
