What you’ll do:

  • Based out of our Frenchs Forest Sky Racing Studios, you’ll assist within the production department as a Vision Switcher
  • Work with a diverse team of operators under the instructions of your director and use some of the newest technologies to broadcast live racing throughout Australia and abroad
  • You’ll work closely and cohesively with your department to ensure equipment is kept up to date and prepared for on air broadcast
  • We operate 24/7, so you will be required to be available to work across a seven-day work week. This includes night shifts, weekends and public holidays on a regular basis

Qualities you’ll need:

  • Ability to work as part of a team and keep calm under pressure in a live television broadcast environment.
  • Proven ability to be flexible and versatile, learning new skills and adapting to changes as they are presented.
  • Ability to follow instructions is essential, as is taking initiative when required.
  • Extreme attention to detail, being able to deliver an error free broadcast on a consistent basis.

Beneficial experience:       

  • Working with a crew in a live television broadcast control room environment
  • Knowledge of how vison mixing desks work and previous experience using them on air
