Are you ready to be at the forefront of innovation in construction materials? Join our Stonyfell Laboratory Team as a Laboratory Technician/Concrete Field Tester. You will be working in a NATA accredited laboratory to support high standards of testing for Boral’s own Concrete and Quarry products and our external customers.

This role reports to the Laboratory Services Manager and involves undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, testing, physical analysis, maintenance of records, and accurate reporting of results for our concrete and quarry products and services.

Your day will involve: 

• Conducting on-site and laboratory-based quality testing by following work instructions and test methods for concrete and quarry products 
• Liaising with technical, production and sales staff regarding customer requirements 
• Involvement in product development and trials 
• Calibration of laboratory equipment
• Maintenance of the laboratory according to NATA accreditation requirements 

What are we looking for? 

• Interest in quality control testing of concrete and quarry material products  
• Experience in a similar industry or working environment
• Current drivers' licence
• Flexibility for overtime and travel to customer sites as required (including regional)
