Your day will involve:

  • Liasing with quarry managers to understand the forecasted volumes, and where in the area of the pit the D&B is required
  • Understanding of the safety and environmental compliance
  • Co-ordinating with both drill and blast contractors, to ensure rock on the ground
  • Rasing purchase orders numbers and receipting, monitoring on costs are in line with budgets

  • Understand and familiarisation of drill and blast operations
  • Shotfirer certificate
  • Effectively manage subcontractor cost and quality.
  • Good at planning and scheduling
  • Improvement initiatives
