We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time opportunity for a responsible and driven individual to join our team as a Concrete Laboratory Technician based at either Eagle Farm or on the Gold Coast.

Working independently this role reports to the Laboratory Manager - Concrete and involves undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, testing, training, supervising, maintenance of records, reporting of results for our concrete and quarry related products.  

Your day will involve:

• Conduct sampling of concrete samples on site  
• Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals
• Calibrate laboratory equipment as required
• Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations  
• Other duties as directed by Laboratory Management

What are we looking for?

• Experience as a concrete field tester, desired but not essential
• Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc)
• An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines  
• Knowledge or experience in Aggregates testing an advantage
