The primary objective of this role is to deliver asset care and planning for safe, reliable and best cost outcomes for Boral’s 26 concrete & 8 quarry sites in Regional QLD. This role is to ensure that maintenance systems, processes and procedures are implemented, maintained and continuously improved on to ensure the availability and reliability of plant and equipment to meet forecast production volume requirements.

Your day will involve:

• Planning and execution of inspection and maintenance work to support reliable delivery to our customers, via the maintenance team and external contractors
• Ongoing improvement in plant availability and efficiency of spend, in conjunction with the Operations team
• Planning and control of capital works rolling on a 5 year basis
• Management of staff and key stakeholders in the delivery of maintenance and capital projects

What are we looking for?

• Demonstrated experience in maintenance management and planning (or similar) and people management with exposure to a multi-site, heavy/industrial business.
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems, ideally Maximo, including annual maintenance plan development/budgeting, trend analysis and improvement planning
• Maintenance and spare parts Vendor management
• Project management expertise
• Ability to influence a variety of stakeholders
