As a Key Account Manager within our Concrete business, you will take ownership of a portfolio of strategic customer relationships. Your focus will be on managing and growing key accounts, driving sustainable sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll ensure seamless delivery of Boral’s concrete products and services while positioning us as the partner of choice in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Drive growth by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and securing new strategic partnerships.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on our concrete solutions to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure efficient, reliable, and timely delivery.
- Analyse market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to inform account strategies.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotes, and contracts for key accounts.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in key account management and business development (construction materials or related industry experience highly regarded).
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Full driver’s license and flexibility to travel within the Sydney Metro region.
- Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
