Your next opportunity:  

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Williamstown, VIC to take ownership of a key major project.

Reporting to the Contracting Manager, you will be accountable for end-to-end delivery; driving strategy, performance, and outcomes across all phases of the project lifecycle.

You will play a critical leadership role, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives, operational execution, and stakeholder expectations on a high-profile infrastructure project.

Your day will involve:

  • Full accountability for safety, quality, program, and financial performance of a major project
  • Driving delivery strategy, sequencing, and resource planning to meet programme milestones
  • Coordinating  internal functions to achieve project outcomes
  • Managing key client interfaces, ensuring clear communication and strong stakeholder alignment
  • Ensuring strict compliance with Boral’s OHSEQ standards and project-specific requirements
  • Identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks and opportunities
  • Monitoring progress against programme with clear reporting on milestones, lookaheads, and critical risks
  • Managing project cost control, forecasting, and commercial performance, including variations and claims
  • Overseeing procurement, subcontractor performance, and operational execution
  • Coaching and developing team members to drive high performance and accountability

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience delivering major civil or road infrastructure projects (asphalt/surfacing highly regarded)
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project cost, risk, and contractual obligations
  • Well-developed understanding of industry safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline (desirable)
  • Highly effective communicator and stakeholder manager
  • Capability in project planning and reporting tools (e.g. MS Project)
