About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Afternoon Fleet Controller to support our operations during critical evening hours. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless fleet performance, reducing reliance on overtime, and maintaining operational oversight beyond standard allocator coverage.

Working in a hybrid/remote environment, you will provide low-intensity afternoon shift coverage, supporting plant operations, monitoring agitator activity, and ensuring strong site control and safe practices across the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Agitator fleet post-6pm, ensuring efficient allocation and coverage
  • Monitor late-pour activity and customer demand, ensuring smooth job execution
  • Manage job close-out processes, including delivery reconciliation and system updates
  • Maintain oversight of concrete waste, dumping controls, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor plant activity remotely to ensure security, adherence to closing procedures, and site integrity
  • Proactively manage and escalate any operational issues or risks
  • Supporting driver fatigue management through oversight and escalation where required

About You

  • Strong coordination or logistics experience (fleet, transport, or operations preferred)
  • Highly organised with the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Safety-focused mindset with strong attention to compliance and process
