We are actively seeking a Project Manager to help lead hands-on Mobile Concrete operations on the Sunshine Coast. You will manage teams, budgets, clients and site performance while staying active on-site. Initially oversee an established operation and play a key role in growing a second through 2028 and beyond.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, reporting to the Major Projects Manager (SEQ Concrete) and part of Boral’s wider Concrete and Quarries business in South East Queensland.
Your day will involve:
- Lead safe and efficient operations across multiple Concrete sites (initially one), delivering reliable outcomes for our customers
- Lead, coach and develop operational teams to drive performance and engagement and deliver industry-leading service with zero harm
- Plan and coordinate production and delivery activities to optimise service and plant performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, systems and processes
- Manage site performance, including budgets, forecasts and operational targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Support day-to-day plant operations, including batching, to ensure consistent service delivery
- Support recruitment and onboarding for new plant staff
- Ensuring compliance with Boral’s OH&S, environmental and quality standards
What are we looking for?
- Understanding of Concrete batch plants, processes and quality standards with project and operations management experience
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on safety and team development
- Practical knowledge of OH&S and environmental legislation
- Strong communication and coaching skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Background in civil, construction or agriculture (tickets/ licenses desirable)
- Must hold a valid Construction White Card and commit to site safety standards
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record
