We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Batcher to join our Canberra Mini Mix operations in Fyshwick. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career with a leading construction materials business.
The Opportunity
As a Batcher, you will play a critical role in the production and dispatch of quality concrete products. Working closely with drivers, customers, and plant teams, you will ensure concrete is batched accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate batching systems to produce concrete mixes to specification
- Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of Mini Mix deliveries
- Monitor raw material levels and maintain stock control
- Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure product compliance
- Complete production and delivery documentation accurately
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in concrete batching, construction materials, manufacturing, logistics, or a similar operational environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to product quality

- Sound computer skills and the ability to learn batching software systems
