We are looking for a driven Account Manager to join our South Australian Recycling team and partner with customers across the construction and demolition industry to deliver outstanding service, strong commercial outcomes, and long-term relationships. 

Based at our Gould Creek Quarry, and reporting to the Business development Manager, you will be the primary point of contact servicing our customers in South Australia to manage sales of inbound Recycling products. You will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts, driving sales growth, client retention and delivering exceptional customer service whilst ensuring high standards are upheld and align with the ‘Boral Way’ values. You will lead by example as a key representative of the business to the external market.

Your Day Will Involve:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships within an existing customer portfolio.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales across the region.
  • Provide expert advice on our range of products and services, ensuring the right solutions for our customers.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the efficient delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to customers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Monitor client trading trends to identify business risk profiles and additional sales opportunities.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the waste, logistics or construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work autonomously.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship building skills
  • A full driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region. Occasional overnight travel will be required.
  • A commitment to safety and environmental standards.
