Boral Construction Materials is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Quarry Supervisor to lead operational teams at our Peppertree Quarry. If you’re passionate about safety, teamwork and operational improvements, this is your chance to join an Australian industry leader. Your day will involve:

  • Safety First: Champion and enforce safety protocols to achieve outstanding performance outcomes. 
  • People Leadership: Lead, inspire, and mentor staff and contractors through hands-on supervision and genuine care for your team. 
  • Operational Excellence: An energy to deliver the incremental improvement of safe, compliant, reliable and optimized assets
  • Working across multiple shifts on a 24/7 site ensuring production and maintenance aligns with safety and quality standards, budgets, and forecasts. 
  • Regulatory Compliance: Helping the site meets it’s licensing, consent, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Strategic Contribution: Play a key role in short and long-term planning and asset optimization.

We're looking for an experienced operational leader with proven skills, drive and a growth mindset.  

  • Safety: Experience of delivering a positive zero harm culture across both employees and contractors.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work across multiple stakeholders and with different areas of a business. You will you build trust, resolve issues proactively, and bring out the best in your team
  • Ambition: You're self-motivated and solutions-focused, with the drive, ambition and energy to go narrow and deep to find the root cause of issues and implement long term fixes to drive continuous improvement. You want tomorrow to be better than today everyday.
  • Accountability: You own your own performance of your site and take accountability for your team.
  • Respect: You deliver these standards and improvements respectfully mindful of the many different cultures, stakeholders and experiences at play
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of quarry/mining leadership
