We are seeking a Quarry Manager at our busy Bacchus Marsh quarry, to provide leadership and manage the day-to-day operations and challenges of the site.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and supported by an on-site leadership team comprising experienced supervisors, the successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of all site activities and meeting the day to day challenges the site has to offer. With an uncompromising commitment to safety you will lead the team to achieve performance and profit targets.
Your day will involve:

- Ultimate responsibility for safety performance of the site
- Driving the achievement of production targets
- Providing team leadership
- Managing environmental compliance and quality control
- Providing superior customer service to our internal and external stakeholders as required
- Planning & monitoring extraction, production and inventory
What Are We Looking For?
- Ability to lead, manage and motivate a diverse team of operators
- Relevant experience and a good knowledge within in the quarry, construction or the mining industry and a good geological understanding
- Experience with crushing & screening process as well as sand operations
- Experience with managing budgets, P&L statements and understanding finances & costs
- Strong leadership attributes including good people management skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage, influence and build rapport with stakeholders from a variety of functions to effectively manage projects
- Experience with community engagement
- High levels of resilience and a determination to deliver successful outcomes
