We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join our Limestone operation at Marulan, NSW. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving safe, reliable and cost-effective maintenance outcomes across our mining operations and fixed plant assets.

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead the maintenance function across the Limestone Mine, ensuring equipment and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability and operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for developing and executing maintenance strategies, managing maintenance budgets, and leading a team of tradespeople and contractors to deliver strong operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a strong safety culture across all maintenance activities
  • Manage preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance programs
  • Drive equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of maintenance employees and contractors
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimise operational downtime
  • Manage maintenance budgets, costs and asset lifecycle planning
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental and company requirements
  • Analyse maintenance and reliability data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Build strong working relationships with operations, technical and planning teams
  • Support capital projects, shutdowns and major maintenance programs

What We Are Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience in a maintenance leadership role within mining, quarrying, heavy industry, cement, manufacturing or related environments
  • Trade qualification and/or tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of fixed plant maintenance and reliability practices
  • Experience managing maintenance planning systems
  • Proven ability to lead teams and develop a positive, high-performance culture
  • Sound budgeting, contractor management and cost control experience
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
