About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on leader to run day-to-day operations at our Stapylton recycling site. You’ll lead the team, keep our people safe and make sure our customers get the quality product they expect, on time, every time.

What you’ll do

• Lead site safety and live our Life Saving Rules, with Zero Harm Today as the goal every shift
• Run production, plant and mobile equipment to plan, applying SCROA (Safe, Compliant, Reliable, Optimised, Assets) to lift reliability and cut breakdowns
• Meet our Environment Absolutes, including compliance with site licences and approvals
• Manage site budgets, costs and monthly business review reporting
• Coach and develop supervisors and operators, and build a strong team culture
• Work closely with sales, logistics and maintenance to deliver on our Customer Promise

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience leading operations in recycling, quarrying, construction materials or heavy industry
• A strong safety and environmental compliance track record
• Solid commercial skills and confidence managing a P&L or site budget
• Clear communication and the ability to bring people with you
• Relevant licences and tickets (or the willingness to obtain them)
