The Opportunity

Our Oils and Technical Services team have an exceptional opportunity to lead operational site based in Rocklea.  Join a business committed to safety, innovation and sustainability.  Your expertise in leading high-performance teams, along with commercial acumen, transport operations, and fleet management, will form the foundation of your success. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Fleet Excellence: Lead the collection fleet to deliver efficient, reliable service to our used cooking oil customers
  • Safety First: Champion a culture of compliance and safety through proactive initiatives and programs
  • People Leadership: Foster engagement and retention through performance reviews, talent development, and succession planning—supported by our HR team
  • Commercial Partnership: Collaborate with Commercial Finance to enhance data integrity and streamline processes for market expansion
  • Operational Oversight: Manage financial and operational performance across both sites, including P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Efficiency & Profitability: Monitor costs and implement reduction strategies to boost profitability while maintaining a safe, productive workplace

 

About You

You’re a self-driven, strategic leader with a proven track record in operational management—ideally within hazardous liquids, logistics, or industrial services. You balance day-to-day execution with a continuous improvement mindset, and you know how to keep teams motivated and customers satisfied. Here’s a closer look at the key attributes we’re seeking:

  • Operational experience in logistics and or manufacturing industry
  • Proven leadership in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
  • Strong operational management experience in liquid collection
  • Financial acumen with experience in branch-level decision-making using data to ensure profitability
  • Proactive problem-solving with the ability to deliver effective operational solutions
