Business Development Manager (SME)
We’re looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager (SME) to join the team at Cleanaway, someone who thrives on meeting new people, building strong relationships, and finding smart solutions that make a real difference.
In this role, you’ll be out on the road most days, connecting with new and existing customers, identifying growth opportunities, and promoting our sustainable approach to waste management.
What you’ll be doing:
- Growing our customer base through face-to-face business development
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
- Developing sales strategies that drive growth and market presence
- Championing Cleanaway’s sustainability values in every interaction
- Keeping Salesforce up to date with customer details and follow-ups
What we’re looking for:
You’re an energetic, positive and results-focused person who loves the challenge of turning opportunities into wins. You bring confidence, persistence, and the ability to build trust quickly with people from all walks of life.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Proven experience in business development
- Strong relationship and account management skills
- The ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
- A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- A self-motivated, organised approach to managing your time and goals
