The Rise Program Administrative Coordinator provides primary administrative support to the program director and coordinator. This position provides essential support to the smooth operation of resilience programming at all Pepperdine schools. This is a restricted position.
Duties
- Provide general office assistance including scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, responding to calls, reconciling credit card statements, editing/proofreading, filing, process payment requisitions, and coordinate travel schedules.
- Assist in planning and marketing RISE events, including scheduling and designing marketing materials.
- Support partnering wellness programs in collaboration with other student affairs departments.
- Lead Rise breakout groups and participate in Rise coaching as needed.
- As a member of the Vice President for Student Affairs offices staff, share general office functions for the suite with other members of the team. Participate in staff administrative support groups and training.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Uphold University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to work well with people; ability to function under pressure.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; attention to detail; strong proofreading skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member; capacity to handle stressful situations gracefully; ability to multitask; capacity to maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to integrate Christian faith with student development theories and practice. Must have a personal faith in Jesus Christ; active involvement in a local church; demonstrated support for the Christian mission of the University.
- Must be computer literate and possess a working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
- At least two years of office experience.
- Experience in planning and supporting events in a university setting.
- Experience in working with sensitive information related to health and mental health.
- Experience working with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.

This is a Restricted, Nonexempt, 40 hour per week position.
Expected Pay Range: $24.03 - $25.00 per hour
The above pay range reflects what Pepperdine University reasonably expects to pay for this position at time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on relevant factors such as work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
