  • Program Manager, Intercultural Affairs in Malibu Campus

    The Program Manager (PM) reports to the Director of Intercultural Affairs (ICA) and collaborates closely with ICA Assistant Directors and student leaders to plan, coordinate, and implement large-scale student club events. This includes ensuring compliance with university policies, managing event budgets, and following risk management protocols. The PM serves as a key advocate and support resource for ICA-affiliated student organizations throughout the event planning process. In addition to program coordination, the PM will be responsible for various administrative functions that ensure the smooth operation of the department. These duties include contract and vendor management, calendar scheduling, and overseeing the execution of project-based activities aligned with departmental goals. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders are essential for success. This position requires occasional evening and weekend work to support ICA programs, events, and student organization activities.

  • Controller in Calabasas Campus

Reporting to the chief financial officer (CFO), the Controller is responsible for day-to-day finance operations and supervises a team of 40 staff members, including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashier, collections, credit cards, finance systems, payroll, purchasing, construction finance, and tax. The Controller ensures Pepperdine University has the internal controls, systems, and procedures in place to safeguard assets, produce accurate and timely financial reporting, and support exceptional customer service. S/he will be the resident GAAP expert, with deep and current experience in financial reporting and fund accounting. In addition, the Controller will partner with the CFO to mentor and promote the professional development of all members of the Finance team.

  • Facilities Data Specialist in Malibu Campus

    Under the direction of the Associate Director of Facilities Logistics, the Data Specialist supports the University’s utility operations and asset documentation. This is accomplished by overseeing utility usage and billing, maintaining the Energy Management System (EMS), managing the functionality of waste streams across campus, and maintaining a detailed and up-to-date inventory of all Maintenance Worthy Items (MWI) through TMA (DFS’ Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)) to catalog and track assets. The role sources and vets new vendors and initiatives that improve efficiency and reduce costs, while also monitoring infrastructure and preparing reports that demonstrate the strategic importance of utilities in supporting the University’s mission.

    Under the direction of the Manager, Maintenance Services for the Department of Facilities Services (DFS), this position will install, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial appliances, including refrigeration units, ice machines, ovens, dishwashers and other kitchen or facility equipment in support of high-quality food and dining services on the Malibu campus.

  • Senior Irrigation Specialist in Malibu Campus

    Under general supervision of the Manager, Landscape and Irrigation Services and Supervisor, Landscape and Irrigation Services for the Department of Facilities Services (“DFS”), and in collaboration with your colleagues, acts as a Senior Irrigation Specialist, providing training, technical expertise, and assistance in performing all duties related to installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems, fixtures, and related devices throughout campus facilities and the athletic fields. Assist in maintaining University grounds by supervising and completing all irrigation system related activities to ensure the success and good appearance of campus landscaping. Collaborate with DFS and other University departments to initiate and deliver high quality projects in a timely manner.
