About the role

In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing, customising, and maintaining applications to meet business needs, while ensuring seamless IT support and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and customise applications using platform tools, including automating workflows and integrating data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, translating stakeholder needs into technical solutions.
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents escalated by the Service Desk or Desktop Support teams, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Develop and support applications that enhance the delivery of IT support and assist the business post-implementation.
• Provide high-quality service to internal clients, keeping them informed and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Maintain documentation for developed solutions and provide training to end-users to ensure effective application usage.
• Perform unit testing, ensuring code quality and resolving bugs throughout development.

The experience we are looking for

We’re looking for a skilled professional with a strong foundation in low-code development and traditional coding expertise. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with low-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps, ShareDo, Pega, K2, or Appian.
• Certification and proven experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Strong SQL skills and experience in database design.
• Ability to integrate systems and services using APIs.
• A base understanding of user interface and user experience design to develop intuitive applications.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems to manage code changes and collaboration.
• Knowledge of security best practices to ensure application integrity and protection.
