The role

Imagination is a leading player in graphics IP design. We have a strong history in supplying technology to tier one customers in mobile and automotive markets.

Our technology is utilised in a number of automotive chips covering a significant part of the car market and in many mobile devices.

You will be a part of the team developing the GPU device driver. Specifically, you’ll be involved in developing lower-level device drivers and kernel modules responsible for OS integration – primarily Linux, interfacing with the GPU firmware, memory management, security, and synchronization.

You'll have:

• Strong C programming skills
• Experience with Linux development environment
• Understanding of operating systems fundamentals and concepts

You might also have:

• Familiarity with computer architecture concepts
• Familiarity with Linux kernel or device drivers
• Familiarity with graphics APIs or other GPU related APIs (OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL, CUDA etc.)
• Knowledge of Python
