The role

We are looking for an Emulation/FPGA Hardware Engineer to be part of the Platforms Team at Imagination Technologies, we offer the opportunity to work with talented engineers in a wide range of projects related to hardware verification of CPU and GPU IPs. We are seeking an Engineer with 1-2 years of experience, highly motivated and capable of working as part of a team as well as individually, committed and proactive to drive hardware acceleration solutions from concept to final product.

Working as a Hardware Engineer in the Platforms Team, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Support and enable multiple Hardware Acceleration Prototyping platforms by developing infrastructure using the latest techniques.
  • Design and maintain verification environments, which will include RTL development and support of various testbench modules.
  • Work with industry leading Vendors, debug potential issues and work on the optimization of build flows and verification capabilities.
  • Bring-up IP designs in third-party Emulation and FPGA Prototyping platforms.
  • Provide support to HW and SW teams across Imagination to verify and validate designs using various Emulation and FPGA platforms.
  • Develop, maintain and automate build flows and tools.
  • Research, develop and enhance new and existing verification flows to extend verification capabilities.

The successful candidate will need to have the following technical skills and experience:

  • Hardware RTL design using languages such as VHDL, Verilog and/or SystemVerilog.
  • Hardware debug in simulation environment and/or real hardware devices.
  • Knowledge of digital design and verification.
  • Experience with industry leading Emulation (Palladium, Veloce, ZeBu) or FPGA (Protium, Primo, HAPS) Prototyping platforms highly valued.
  • Ability to work with Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • Scripting experience with languages such as Python, TCL, Bash/Sh.

This role requires close collaboration with other teams, worldwide located, for debugging, development and support tasks.

The candidate should have good communication and teamwork skills, as well as being dedicated and committed to achieve planned goals in timely manner.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Degree/Master in Electronics, Telecommunication Engineering or related subject.
