Position Summary

The Department of Mechanical Engineering invites applicants for a fixed term Professor position in mechanical engineering. The primary duties for this position are to teach ME440 (Aerospace Propulsion) in Fall 2025 and ME441 (Aerodynamics and Aircraft Performance) in Spring 2026. Both classes will be offered in person.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Mechanical Engineering or closely related field

Minimum Requirements

Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or closely related field Expertise in Thermal fluid Sciences and Aerospace At least 10 years experience teaching undergraduate courses

• Experience with D2L learning platform
• Experience with different student learning modalities
