Purpose of Position

The IT Manager is responsible for assisting the business unit by monitoring all Information Technology operations.

He/She will provide excellent service to delight our guests and colleagues.

The IT Manager will report to the Resort Manager and to the Cluster Director of IT&T.

 

Standard Tasks

 

• To manage daily IT&T needs and requests

 

• Being responsible for the resort IT&T systems with the support of the Cluster Director of IT

 

• To be conversant with the Cluster IT&T Director responsibilities

 

• To be responsible for all computer equipment and computer room cleanness and tidiness, ensuring that all documents, master software and spares are organized in such a way that they are readily available.

 

• Provide First line support to Colleagues and Guests

 

• Ensure that systems are physically secure and data is password protected.

 

• Ensure that Antivirus software is installed, kept up to date and operational, so as to protect the resort/office systems.

 

• To follow the guidelines given in any standards and other documentation produced by the region or the group.

 

• Ensure all local procedures and reporting comply with all MOHG Policies and Procedures and assist internal and external audit personnel in validating compliance.

 

• Assist for purchases of hardware and software.

 

• Assist the Cluster Director of IT&T for all IT related projects within the resort.

The ideal candidate has:

 

  • Previous experience of PC hardware and PC set-up procedures
  • Previous experience of Servers and set-up procedures
  • Excellent communication skills both written/verbal;
  • Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory
  • Highly organized and proactive skills
  • Ability to deliver high quality customer service
  • Good initiative and ability to work under pressure
  • Prior experience in luxury hospitality would be a plus
