JOB SUMMARY:
The Analyst II, Research Fulfillment is responsible for the hands-on execution of a multitude of research operations tasks, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and technical mastery of the fundamentals. This role builds upon foundational QA experience and introduces the direct implementation of survey programming, fielding management, data processing, report building, and qualitative coding. The Analyst II will employ a full suite of research operations processes and tools to support a wide range of projects that span the UDX organization. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and eager to develop deeper expertise in the mechanics of the research fulfillment processes while delivering quality results in a fast-paced environment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Survey Programming, Reporting, & Data Processing
- Program straightforward surveys according to research specifications.
- Build simple reports using templated or pre-existing structures/formatting and applying custom modifications as needed.
- Make moderately complex updates to existing banner syntax, including variable transformations and applying statistical procedures.
- Ensure proper application of data transformations and variable cleaning as per team standards.
- Quality Assurance & Accuracy Checking
- Rotate QA responsibilities, reviewing surveys, syntax, banners, reports, and other research materials for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established templates.
- Verify writing mechanics, grammar, clarity, and logic across end-to-end research materials.
- Flag, communicate, and provide actionable recommendations to fix errors, inconsistencies, or formatting issues before final delivery.
- Project Coordination, Optimization & Support
- Review proposed scope of work, proactively identify points of concern and opportunities for improvement, and actively participate in project kickoff meetings.
- Communicate proactively with the Projects Manager and other team members on task progress and surfacing issues.
- Work closely with team to ensure output aligns with research specifications and client needs.
- Work with Projects Manager and Sr. Specialists to identify opportunities to improve task efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain documentation of updates or changes to projects.
- Perform other research support tasks as assigned.
- Fielding Management
- Compile sample and arrange for send-outs per specifications.
- Monitor quotas and fielding progress and adjust reminders as needed.
- Proactively identify issues affecting sample composition or completion rates and communicate to leadership.
- Qualitative Data Processing & Coding
- Assist in identifying patterns and themes within qualitative data to enhance reporting quality.
- Apply thematic coding to qualitative data, using AI tools as needed.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, market research, statistics, social sciences, survey research, or a related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience in a research operations or closely-related role is required.
- Comprehensive understanding of data review, research workflows, or quality control principles is required.
- Working knowledge of Qualtrics, DisplayR, SPSS and Ascribe (or similar text analytics tool) is preferred.
- Candidates with equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

- Proficiency with general Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with broader team objectives.
- Ability to apply logic and problem-solving to address challenges, optimize programming, and find efficiencies in work processes.
