JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, update and follow through of the Entrance Operations operational sales training program. Responsible for revenue generation, supporting sales initiatives, executing sales plans. Develop and Administer training classes targeting areas of opportunity. Coaches sales methods ensures that guest services and sales standards are met.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports the Sales Management Team in developing department training, delivering training, updating training initiatives and program.
- Develops programs to support sales initiative and the brand essence. Updates department OJT’s and coordinates recertification trainings.
- Update End of Day sales report, Daily Sales incentive targets are shared with the team. Update daily the Sales Recognition board, recognizing the departments top performers.
- Participates in the review of sales statistics pertinent to daily sale performance and supports the sales and service gap analyses process of this data and conducts individual development training for the Vacation Planners.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
- High school degree or GED is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ year of prior sales and cash handling experience required.
- Leadership experience preferred;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Must have a proven record of training and developing individuals and groups
- Requires excellent presentation skills.
- Requires excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to work with departments across the resort.
- Prior working knowledge of sales reporting systems including POS computer systems and advance Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.
- Exceptional sales and motivation skills with the ability to coach team members to meet sales targets.
- Strong administrative, organizational and writing skills required.
- Able to work flexible work schedules and prior admissions and/or operational experience preferred.
- Requires strong guest service skills
