JOB SUMMARY:

The Analyst I is a key member of the UPT Asset Management team, responsible for many aspects of the hardware and software asset lifecycle including receiving, inventory, shipping, asset creation & tagging, order fulfillment, asset recovery, and disposal. The Asset Management Analyst I will utilize established documentation, procedures, and available inventory management and ITSM service management applications to complete daily, weekly, and quarterly objectives, assist with audits, and assist with hardware and software requests as needed. The Analyst I will be required to maintain detailed records and email etiquette to effectively communicate with our business partners and team members.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible the creation or transfer of serialized & non-serialized assets including asset tagging and creating/updating records in approved ITSM and inventory control systems.
  • Utilize existing ITSM and inventory management systems to process requests for hardware and software including new hire, refresh, transfer, and project requests.
  • Assist with warehouse logistics including receiving, physical inventory, shipping, daily and weekly order fulfillment, equipment deliveries and collections, and regular audits of physical inventory, and preparing and processing assets for repair or disposal.
  • Attend regularly scheduled team meetings and appropriate collaboration sessions with UPT and business partners; regularly review team metrics and reporting for awareness and measurement of key business objectives and service level agreements.
  • Participate in regular training and compliance sessions to ensure accurate processes and procedures; and ensure a safe working environment for team members.
  • Assist with reviewing and writing process, procedure, and approved asset documentation for consistent team performance, compliance, and training.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Technical school or Associate degree is preferred.
  • Military classes or equivalent training.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ year in asset management, inventory management, or warehouse logistics with a working knowledge of ITSM/inventory management and discovery tools;
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience.
