Overview | The Thrive Educator will work with the Counseling Center to develop and implement educational and awareness programming focused on mental health, substance abuse, sexual assault and other topics relevant to the Counseling Center. |
Responsibilities | Thrive Leaders support the Campus Wellness unit to facilitate outreach efforts, experiential activities, and educational programs centered around relevant topics and issues that impact our health and wellbeing. |
Minimum Qualifications | Thrive leaders are the voice of student wellness on campus and model healthy behaviors for others. Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills and are comfortable speaking to others one-on-one or in a presentation format about mental health and other wellness related topics. Thrive leaders must be responsible, punctual, can take initiative and work independently. They must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 and be absent of any conduct violations. Thrive leaders must be able to attend the entirety of leadership training (the week before classes begin in the Fall). |
