About the department / center:
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions plays a vital role in shaping the future of the University by recruiting and enrolling a diverse and talented group of domestic and international undergraduate and transfer students. Hosting more than 50,000 visitors annually through campus tours, admissions events, and various on- and off-campus programming (including virtual engagement), we provide prospective students with meaningful insights into the University experience.
Role Description:
Blue Hen Application Managers (BHAMs) are essential members of the Admissions team, contributing to the success of recruitment and enrollment efforts. Under the supervision of the Admissions Operations team, BHAMs are responsible for supporting operational processes behind the scenes. Their work ensures the accurate and timely handling of data and communications that support enrollment of future classes to UD.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assemble, label, and organize materials for mailings and recruitment initiatives

Accurately enter and maintain applicant data in internal systems such as Slate and UDSIS

Prepare and compile information packets for various admissions recruitment and yield events

Provide timely and professional responses to email inquiries from prospective students and campus partners
Qualifications:

Proficiency in basic computing tasks, including email, word processing, and data entry

Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks

Must be a current undergraduate student in good academic standing

Demonstrated organizational and communication skills

Ability to work with highly sensitive information, work independently and collaboratively within a team
